About the Event
WHAT
As a fundraiser for the Greater Northwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, I will tread water continuously for 24 hours. No flotation of any kind will be used.
WHEN
Beginning at 10am Sunday morning, September 1st, and finishing at 10am on Monday the 2nd.
WHERE
The Snohomish Aquatic Center, 516 Maple Avenue in Snohomish. The Aquatic Center is open to the public until 7pm on Sunday night, and reopens at 5:30am Monday morning. There is no charge for visitors to the event, just check in at the front desk upon arrival.
WHY
Multiple sclerosis is a devastating disease that impacts an individual's independence, mobility, and quality of life. There are exciting advances being made and a cure may be on the horizon, but more funding is necessary for research, advocacy, and supporting programs and services to help people living with MS. 100% of donations will go directly to the Greater Northwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Snohomish Aquatic Center
A great big shout out to Juleah, Brandon, and all the folks at the Snohomish Aquatic Center, without them this would not be possible.
Thank you!!
